Maui Orchid Society presents it’s annual Valentine’s Day Show and Sale scheduled for February 11-13, 2016 at the Maui Mall in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii.  The Show and Sale is scheduled for three days prior to Valentine’s Day (Sunday February 14, 2016). The show times will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on all three days.

 

The Maui Orchid Society provide the County of Maui Information and techniques helping gardeners to successfully grow orchids on Maui. Orchid enthusiasts who had a desire to promote the growth of orchids in Maui County began the Orchid Society in 1941. With this goal in mind we will have a show and judging by American Orchid Society certified judges, show casing our members’ plants for the entire community to enjoy.

 

Society members will also be available to the general public to answer questions that they may have regarding the growth and care for orchids. Hawaii and Maui in particular is especially suited for the cultivation of orchids for the home gardener, with our good consistent warm weather, ample sunlight, and abundant rainfall. Growing Orchids on Maui is within reach of all not just a few.​
