The Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 6:30 PM with a Beginners' Sessions led by Stella Medeiros.  Stella shared her journey and participation in the Maui Orchid Society with pictures of her backyard growing area. The guest speaker for the evening was Agnes Groff who continued on from Stella's story by sharing her history of joining the Maui Orchid Society and how it led her to create a wonderful backyard shade house for her plants at her home in Haiku.  Jeff Parker was the first place winner in the Advanced Division of Show & Tell with his Aerangis Citrata "Natural World".  Myrna Fung took home the winner for the Intermediate Division with her Epic Golden Sunburst and  Agnes Groff topped off her meeting with a win in the Novice Division with her Ida carina.  Members are encouraged to bring their plants to the monthly meetings to share with members on the Show & Tell tables.  Everyone is welcome!
