The Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, July 18 at the Wailuku Community Center. Andy Okada led the Beginners Session with his talk on "Starting a Collection." Michael Blietz was our keynote speaker for the "Rights and Wrongs of Fertilizing.
Join us next month, August 15, 2017, for our next General Membership Meeting. The scheduled speaker is Peter Tobias, President of the Orchid Conservation Alliance, who will be speaking on “Why and How to Create an Orchid Reserve.” He will also present the Beginners’ Session.
