The Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the Wailuku (Velma McWayne Santos) Community Center.
The speaker for the evening was our President Bert Akitake, who provided a step-by-step guide on growing vanilla orchids. Everyone at the meeting received a cutting of the vanilla orchid so that they could start growing one at home.
