Plants for the General Meeting provided by Maryetta Sciuto.
The Beginner's Session started at 6:30 PM, led by
Carol Choda, Exotic Orchids of Maui, on how to repot Phalaenopsis. It was well attended and a great hands-on experience.
Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 7:00 PM, and the speaker for the evening was our own world traveler, Maryetta Sciuto. She provided a travelogue of her trip to: (1) Galapagos Islands; (2) 2017 World Orchid Conference in Guayquil, Ecuador; and (3) Ecuagenera Orchid Tours that take you into the natural habitats of wild orchids.
