The Beginner's Session started at 6:30 PM, led by
Carol Choda, Exotic Orchids of Maui, who provided interesting information on the Vandaceous culture.
Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 7:00 PM, and the speaker for the evening was Randall Tajima, retired Orchid Specialist of Foster Botanical Gardens, City and County of Honolulu, and owner/operator of Mid Pacific Orchids. Mr. Tajima shared his methodology of growing orchids.
